MY WORKPLACE

The Institute of Neurosciences, Kolkata (I-NK), is a 150 bed hospital for the treatment of neurological disorders being built in Kolkata, India. This one of a kind center for neurological care is the dream of one individual, Dr. R. P. 'Robin' Sengupta, an eminent neurosurgeon practising in England for the last 45 years, but with roots in Kolkata.

  • 20% of bed reserved for the under privilege.
  • Treatment for poor provided at a subsidiesd cost.
  • Cyber KnifeDiagnostic centre.
  • Stroke centre.
  • Trauma centre.
  • Endovascular centre.
  • 4 operation theatres with 3000 surgeries per year.
  • Operating surplus to be ploughed back for development of the hospital only.
